Our first time. They do not take reservations so it's going to be a wait, especially at the beginning of Spring Break. The crab cakes were tasty and fresh- as if they came straight from the ocean. The PEI mussels were delicious and flavorful! The fish of the day with the pearl couscous was on point! We had great service and would recommend going.

5 Star Amazing Meal!!! Had the potatoe crusted red snapper, on special the night we were there and it was outstanding. Served with Lobster swirls on top and a crab cake. This meal could not have been anything but perfection. ($42 market price varies) She had the scallops that equally as spectacular. ' Our server was awesome. She was quick with the drink refills. Food came out in record time and empty plates were wisked away. Yes, the resturaunt is very popular with a large Oyster Bar to the right where we waited for our table. Wait time at 8pm was about 45-50 minutes but it went by super fast. Very crowded when we arrived. The dining area has an inside and outdoor option. Both have great views of the marina. I've been here before and I think I rated it a four but this evening everything was on point and very deserving of 5 Stars!

Three words... Scoobies, Octopus, and the Surf & Surf oysters. I know that's more than three words but I think you get the point LOL. Amazing food, great service and a nice chill vibe. Coconuts FTL is a must try!

Whoever decided to bring back the lobster wrap, THANK YOU. The lobster wrap with fries and a side of the garlic ranch is my go-to every single time we visit for lunch.

Great seafood selection. Tried eight oysters, an appetizer, few drinks and a piece of pie. Partner got sandwich and drink and bill was $160. Good food but a little pricey. It is next to yacht club, so I think you are paying for an experience. They were out of Malibu rum, the coconut rum substitute was ok. The key lime pie is excellent. Won't be my first choice for oysters in Lauderdale next time.

Coconuts offers a beautiful bay view that makes the wait time understandable--it's worth it for the atmosphere alone. The food was delicious, and our server was an absolute angel, going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. However, the overall service had some inconsistencies. While friendly, the staff wasn't always the best at remembering requests or accommodating things promptly. One issue that left us a bit upset was when they needed to take a table we had connected to ours for another guest. While we understood, the way it was handled felt a bit dismissive--especially when I was expected to keep my bag on the ground instead of being offered an alternative. It would have been nice if they were more accommodating in that situation, given that overbooking seemed to be the reason. Despite that small frustration, I'd still return. The view, food, and our wonderful waiter made up for the bumps in service. Hopefully, they work on consistency with the rest of the staff

As a S.FL native I've been to Coconuts on a few occasions in the past. However it's been a few years since I've been back simply because it reminds me of a loved one who's no longer with us that I used to come here with. The food has always been good but in the past I primarily came for the beautiful scenery and the convenient location on Fort Lauderdale Beach. However after my visit last night for a friend's birthday that has officially CHANGED . I'm not certain what changes they've made but they've officially become a MICHELIN QUALITY CULINARY CONTENDER with the dishes we ate. Our group's selections included the smoked fish dip, calamari, smoked octopus with the most savory balsamic vinaigrette drizzle , raw oysters, jambalaya with a decadent crab cake on top, hush puppies, their house salad, Langostino tacos and scoobies! I'm literally reminiscing about just how fresh and flavorful every single dish was as I write this review! Our group decided to try a little bit of everything from everyone so I'm speaking from experience when I say Each Dish was Chef's kiss! Special shoutout to our waiter Chris that was proactive in meeting our needs all night , very friendly and accommodating! I'll definitely be back more often!

While waiting for the brunch party to show up I started at the bar with the old fashioned. My drink was delicious. For brunch I had the Scoobies and Moo and Cluck. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Very delicious and flavorful. My seating on the patio overlooking the water was perfect. Out server was very attentive and personable. I would recommend and plan on returning.
